Gazpromneft OffRoad CS 2: heavy-duty performance at up to 25% lower cost
PT FEOTECH Energy Nusantara has launched a commercial program for Gazpromneft OffRoad Grease CS 2 — a heavy-duty grease engineered for wet, shock-loaded, low-speed and high-temperature lubrication points. For comparable 18 kg packaging and sales terms, the offer can deliver savings of up to 25% versus Gazpromneft Grease LX EP 2.
A different technology for more severe service
OffRoad CS 2 uses a calcium sulfonate thickener rather than lithium complex. This technology combines water resistance, high-temperature stability, extreme-pressure performance and corrosion protection for mining, construction and off-road equipment.
The product is developed and manufactured in Russia by Gazpromneft Lubricants. In Indonesia, FEOTECH serves as the official importer and authorized distributor, providing the supply route, technical documentation and application-selection support.
Measurable performance advantages
The operating-temperature range extends from -30 to +200 °C and the dropping point exceeds 300 °C. A base-oil viscosity of 460 mm²/s at 40 °C supports a strong lubricating film at low speed and high load.
The product data reports water washout below 2% at 79 °C and a 4-ball weld load of 4,635 N. This combination makes OffRoad CS 2 particularly relevant for pins and bushings, chassis points, low-speed bearings and equipment exposed to water and shock loads.

Changeover remains an engineering decision
OffRoad CS 2 is a strong alternative to lithium-complex grease in suitable applications, but it is not an automatic replacement at every lubrication point. Before changeover, FEOTECH reviews OEM guidance, compatibility with the previous grease, speed, load, sealing, application method and relubrication interval.
