Gazpromneft HTO 32: cleaner systems, stable heat and support for Indonesian factories

Fabric quality depends on stable heating, and production plans depend on reliable equipment. FEOTECH introduces Gazpromneft HTO 32 for evaluation in thermal oil systems at Indonesian textile factories. This semi-synthetic heat transfer oil combines thermal stability, deposit control and documented industrial experience. The offer brings together the product, technical support and an agreed supply plan.

More value from every factory operating hour

Stenters, calenders and laminating lines require consistent heat transfer. Deposits in pipes and heater coils obstruct heat exchange and complicate maintenance. Thermal oil properties therefore matter throughout the system, from the heater to the production line.

The synthetic components in HTO 32 provide high thermal and thermo-oxidative stability. The manufacturer links these properties to reduced deposits and a lower probability of unplanned downtime. Detergent properties support deposit control in the circuit. The practical aim is stable heat transfer, equipment protection and more predictable maintenance.

Temperature capabilities for industrial heating

HTO 32 is designed for open and closed heating circuits with intensive forced circulation. The current manufacturer TDS gives three separate limits: 180 °C in an open system, 310 °C for bulk oil in a closed system and 330 °C for the oil film at the heated surface.

These characteristics help assess the product for a particular heater. FEOTECH reviews oil temperature, circulation conditions and equipment requirements. Typical open-cup flash point is 230 °C and kinematic viscosity at 100 °C is 5.7 mm²/s. Flash point is a laboratory characteristic; the stated application limits govern the operating-temperature assessment.

Temperature limits: manufacturer TDS, April 2026. Service-life example: Gazpromneft-Lubricants, August 2026, at 180–200 °C.

Experience replacing established international oils

Gazpromneft-Lubricants documents two industrial implementations. In 2018, HTO 32 replaced MB · MTH 605 in Ferroli Elicoil NO 1600 and NO 4000 boilers at the Yug bitumen terminal. In 2020, it replaced SH · HT S2 in the TMN-1000G heater and TR 100 heat exchanger at the Ryazan Bitumen Materials Plant.

For textile factories, this is relevant experience in industrial heat exchange equipment and a starting point for assessing a change to HTO 32 in a specific installation.

2.5 years instead of 6–7 months: a result worth discussing

In a separate manufacturer example, aromatic MT-300 OM reached the condemning carbon-residue value of 1.0% after 6–7 months. Following replacement with HTO 32, the same system operated for 2.5 years at 180–200 °C before reaching the same value.

That represents approximately 4–5 times longer service life in the reported case. It shows why a buyer should compare more than the drum price: oil-change frequency, circuit maintenance and productive operating time also count. Results at an individual factory are assessed through its operating conditions and oil analysis.

FEOTECH: from product selection to planned deliveries

Start with the heater model, oil temperature, circuit volume and current fluid. FEOTECH helps assemble the information for technical assessment, discusses cleaning or flushing requirements and coordinates the changeover approach with the manufacturer’s technical support.

A fresh-oil baseline sample and an agreed monitoring schedule support follow-up. This helps identify changes early and plan maintenance. Supply is discussed in 205-litre drums; quantity, availability and delivery timing are confirmed in the commercial offer. Advance planning helps align imports with the factory’s production schedule.

A short Q&A with FEOTECH

DIRECTOR’S PERSPECTIVE

Why is HTO 32 relevant to Indonesian factories?

We offer factories an industrial product, clear documentation and support close to their business. HTO 32 brings useful properties and an application history in Russia. Our job is to turn those strengths into customer value: stable system operation, planned maintenance and supply aligned with production. We can start with a specific heater and volume, then build a long-term relationship with the factory.

SALES TECHNICAL SUPPORT

How should a factory start a change to HTO 32?

Send the heater model, operating temperatures, system volume and current oil. We assess the duty with the manufacturer’s technical support, discuss circuit condition and agree a changeover plan. Analysis of the current oil and a sample after filling establish a basis for ongoing monitoring. For the customer, this is a clear sequence: selection, system preparation, start-up and follow-up.
